Scientists must be getting bored.

For years they have twiddled with their models and informed us, with increasing precision, about the looming climate change, or ‘global boiling’ as the UN chief calls it. By my assessment, we have had only 12 years to avert catastrophe for at least 30 years now. I believe the 12 year period currently in effect ends next Thursday.

Well it seems some scientists are bored with predictions of future climate change. Now they have decided to model backwards.

My word, stick a calculator in the hands of a few scientists, let them make some assumptions about stuff and voila! Is there no limit to their discoveries?
